The invention discloses an automobile instrument system based on functional safety and a working method thereof. The system comprises an MCU chip, an SOC chip, an FPGA chip, an OSD chip, a storage chip, a deserializer and a screen module. The MCU chip, the SOC chip, the FPGA chip, the OSD chip, the deserializer and the screen module are sequentially connected, the MCU chip is further directly connected with the OSD chip, and the OSD chip is connected with the storage chip; the OSD chip carries out SOC abnormal state detection; if the LVDS signal is normal, the OSD chip processes the LVDS signal and transmits the LVDS signal to a deserializer, and the LVDS signal is normally displayed by a screen module; and if the related signals are abnormal, the MCU chip is directly notified, the MCU chip only directly transmits the security information in the related signals to the OSD chip at the moment, the security information is processed by the OSD chip and then transmitted to the deserializer, and then the security information is displayed through the screen module. The MCU chip is further directly connected with the OSD chip, SOC abnormal state detection is carried out through the OSD chip, and therefore the problem that driving safety and driving experience are affected due to the fact that an automobile instrument is abnormal is solved.
本发明公开了一种基于功能安全的汽车仪表系统及其工作方法,该系统包括MCU芯片、SOC芯片、FPGA芯片、OSD芯片、存储芯片、解串器和屏幕模组;MCU芯片、SOC芯片、FPGA芯片、OSD芯片、解串器和屏幕模组依次相连,MCU芯片还与OSD芯片直接相连,OSD芯片与存储芯片相连;OSD芯片进行SOC异常状态检测;若正常,则OSD芯片处理所述LVDS信号,并传输给解串器由屏幕模组正常显示;若异常,则直接通知MCU芯片,MCU芯片此时仅将相关信号中的安全信息直接传输给OSD芯片,由OSD芯片处理后传输给解串器,再通过屏幕模组显示。本发明使MCU芯片还与OSD芯片直接相连,并通过OSD芯片进行SOC异常状态检测,由此解决汽车仪表异常而影响驾驶安全和驾驶体验的问题。
