The tracked robot and the quadruped robot perform land detection respectively, when the vision of the quadruped robot is blocked, current position information is recorded, the unmanned aerial vehicle is started to perform environment detection, path information is transmitted to the quadruped robot, and the quadruped robot performs obstacle avoidance according to the received path information; after land and air environment detection is completed, the quadruped robot is in butt joint with the unmanned aerial vehicle; when underwater detection is carried out, the quadruped robot after butt joint sinks into the water bottom, meanwhile, the unmanned aerial vehicle is started to be separated into water or air, and underwater propellers of the quadruped robot and the unmanned aerial vehicle are started to carry out underwater detection; and after underwater detection is completed, the quadruped robot and the unmanned aerial vehicle run to designated positions sent by the navigation system, and a detection task is completed. The method is wide in detection range.
