The invention discloses a hybrid loader cooling system and a control method, and belongs to the technical field of engineering machinery. The system comprises a radiator assembly, a water pump set, a walking motor unit, a master controller, a hydraulic motor unit and a range extender unit. The water pump set comprises a first water pump and a second water pump. The walking motor unit is communicated with the radiator assembly and the first water pump to form a walking motor cooling loop; the master controller is communicated with the radiator assembly and the first water pump to form a master controller cooling loop; the hydraulic motor unit is communicated with the radiator assembly and the second water pump to form a hydraulic motor cooling loop; and the range extender unit is communicated with the radiator assembly, the second water pump and the electromagnetic valve to form a range extender cooling loop. The system comprises a plurality of cooling loops, and opening of the cooling loops can be determined through electric quantity. The device can adapt to various working condition control temperatures, saves electric energy, and improves the heat dissipation efficiency.
