The invention relates to the technical field of railway traffic, in particular to a method and device for confirming the position of a railway level conversion forecast transponder group. According to the calculation method disclosed by the invention, by analyzing the size relation between the target speeds of different train control grades before and after the execution of the transponder, the monitoring curve taking the allowable speeds of the two train control grades before and after the execution point as the target speeds is calculated, and the calculation method for reasonably setting the position of the forecast transponder under the condition that the execution point of the transponder is determined is provided. The forecasting transponder group position calculated by the calculation method disclosed by the invention is higher in calculation precision, accords with the actual train control process logic of the train, improves the running efficiency and is safer in train control.
