The invention provides a vehicle air conditioning device which comprises a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, a first indoor heat exchanger, a second indoor heat exchanger located on the downstream side of the first indoor heat exchanger, a first expansion valve, a second expansion valve and a switching unit, and under the condition that an automatic cleaning mode is started, the vehicle air conditioning device operates in a frosting mode and a defrosting mode in sequence. In a frosting mode, a compressor is operated, and a first expansion valve, a second expansion valve, and a switching unit are controlled so that a low-temperature refrigerant flows from the first indoor heat exchanger to the second indoor heat exchanger, thereby frosting the first indoor heat exchanger and the second indoor heat exchanger, and in a defrosting mode, the first indoor heat exchanger and the second indoor heat exchanger are defrosted. And a control unit that operates the compressor, and controls the first expansion valve, the second expansion valve, and the switching unit so that the high-temperature refrigerant flows from the first indoor heat exchanger to the second indoor heat exchanger, thereby defrosting the first indoor heat exchanger and the second indoor heat exchanger.
