The invention discloses a charging method for an electric aircraft and the electric aircraft, and the method comprises the steps: building a communication protocol for carrying out the communication with a high-voltage DC quick charging pile; the high-voltage direct-current quick charging pile obtains power supply data of the electric aircraft; the high-voltage direct-current quick charging pile outputs electric energy to the electric aircraft; the electric aircraft receives the electric energy; the electric aircraft comprises a charging base matched with the high-voltage direct-current fast charging pile. By arranging the charging seat matched with the high-voltage direct-current quick-charging pile in the electric aircraft and establishing the communication protocol for communicating with the high-voltage direct-current quick-charging pile, the electric aircraft can be charged by using the existing high-voltage direct-current quick-charging pile, so that the purposes of saving resources and space and improving the charging efficiency are achieved. And the cost is reduced.
