A deterioration state determination method for determining a deterioration state of an object based on a color of an indicator attached to the object as a determination target of the deterioration state includes: generating a color change database, the color change database includes data indicating a relationship between a color change of the indicator and an amount of a degradation factor causing degradation of the object; selecting a color to be used for the indicator such that the amount of deterioration factor can be identified; acquiring an image of an indicator attached to the object, and extracting a color component from the image (S27); and determining, on the basis of the color change database and the color component extracted from the image, the deterioration state of the object using a deterioration determination model that uses the amount of the deterioration factor as an input and outputs an index of the deterioration state of the object (S30).
