The invention relates to a charger and a method for controlling the charger to charge. The charger comprises: an output interface for outputting a charging voltage; the control unit is used for controlling the output interface to output charging voltage; wherein the control unit is configured to: analyze a signal received from a device to be charged; in response to the information related to the charging protocol carried by the signal, matching a target charging protocol, and controlling the output interface to output a charging voltage related to the target charging protocol; in response to the condition that the signal does not carry the information related to the charging protocol, judging whether the level of the signal is lower than a reference level; and controlling the output interface to output a charging voltage matched with the to-be-charged equipment in response to the condition that the level of the signal is lower than the reference level. The charger provided by the invention not only can charge a battery with a protocol, but also can output adaptive charging voltage to a common battery through the adapter, so that the adaptability of to-be-charged equipment with different charging interfaces and the universality of different types of charging equipment are improved.

    本发明涉及一种充电器和用于控制充电器进行充电的方法。该充电器包括:输出接口,用于输出充电电压;控制单元,用于控制输出接口输出充电电压;其中,控制单元被配置成用于:分析从待充电设备接收的信号;响应于信号携带与充电协议相关的信息,匹配目标充电协议,控制输出接口输出与目标充电协议相关联的充电电压;响应于信号不携带与充电协议相关的信息,判断信号的电平是否低于参考电平;响应于信号的电平低于参考电平,控制输出接口输出与待充电设备适配的充电电压。本文所提出的充电器既能够给带有协议的电池充电,还能够通过转换头向普通电池输出适配的充电电压,改善了对不同充电接口的待充电设备的适配性以及不同类型的充电设备的通用性。
