The underwater topographic measurement equipment provided by the invention can freely adjust the height of a sonar measurement instrument; in the using process, the supporting plate is fixed to a ship body firstly, and the supporting plate is kept horizontal; then the sliding arm slides so that the sliding arm can extend relative to the cross arm, and the end, away from the cross arm, of the sliding arm is located above the water surface; then a first motor is started to drive a second grooved wheel to rotate, so that an inhaul cable descends, the supporting frame sinks underwater, and the sonar measuring instrument enters underwater to measure the underwater terrain; in the measurement process, the second grooved wheel can be driven to rotate through the first motor, so that the inhaul cable ascends or descends, the underwater depth of the sonar measurement instrument is adjusted, and underwater topographic measurement work is conveniently provided for water areas with different depths.
