The driving mechanism is mounted on the vehicle body, and when the vehicle body operates normally, the driving mechanism drives the push-pull mechanism to rotate around a hinge point so as to drive the limiting mechanism to be away from the crushing pipe to relieve deflection freedom degree limiting of the crushing pipe; when the vehicle body is about to collide, the driving mechanism drives the push-pull mechanism to rotate around the hinge point and drives the limiting mechanism to approach the crushing pipe to form surrounding holding limiting so as to prevent the crushing pipe from deflecting. The method has the advantages that the deflection instability risk of the car coupler is reduced, and the crumple energy absorption stability of the crumple pipe is improved.
