The two turning-over tools are installed on lifting screw holes in the two sides of the bearing cover correspondingly, the gravity centers of the two turning-over tools and the gravity center of the bearing cover are located on the same horizontal line, the two slings are wound in annular grooves of the turning-over tools correspondingly, the ends of the slings are hung on lifting hooks of a crane correspondingly, the crane is started to horizontally lift the bearing cover, and then the bearing cover is lifted. And the bearing cover is manually overturned to a needed direction state around the gravity center horizontal line of the bearing cover, and the overturning operation of the bearing cover is completed. According to the bearing cover overturning device, horizontal overturning of the bearing cover around the gravity center horizontal line is achieved, the overturning mode is changed into one-time overturning from two-time overturning, and the effects of optimizing the operation process, improving the operation efficiency, eliminating potential safety hazards, reducing the operation difficulty and reducing the labor intensity are achieved.
