The invention discloses passenger conveying equipment which comprises an additional brake, a brake release in-place detection switch, a brake in-place detection switch and an additional brake state detection device. The additional brake state detection device is provided with a main control unit; the main control unit receives feedback signals of the brake release in-place detection switch and the brake in-place detection switch and judges the state of the additional brake according to the feedback signals. The state of the additional brake comprises a brake release state, a complete braking state and a non-complete braking state; when the state of the additional brake is a complete braking state, the passenger conveying device invalidates the downlink command signal.
