The present invention provides a method for managing an automatic brake hold function of a vehicle, the method comprising: enabling an automatic brake hold function; obtaining a plurality of signals for identifying a specific scene in which the vehicle is currently located; identifying a particular scene in which the vehicle is currently located based on the plurality of signals; and deactivating the automatic brake hold function based on the specific scenario in which the vehicle is currently in. In addition, the invention further provides a device for managing the automatic brake maintaining function of the vehicle. According to the method and the device, the specific scene in which the vehicle is currently located can be identified by utilizing various signals, so that unexpected activation of the automatic brake holding function in the specific scene is avoided, and the driving experience is remarkably enhanced.
