The invention provides a charging station power regulation and control system and method. The charging station comprises a router, a control system, a main station module, a power adjusting module and a charging pile. The power regulation module performs real-time data collection on the charging pile and reports the data to the master station module; the master station module sends the received real-time data to the control system, and the control system adds the currently adjustable maximum power reported by all the power adjusting modules and reports the sum to a power system dispatching control center through the electric vehicle load aggregation system; the power system dispatching control center sends out a power regulation signal, and the power regulation signal is forwarded to a target charging station with a power regulation requirement through an electric vehicle load aggregation system; and the router of the target charging station receives the power regulation signal and forwards the power regulation signal to the control system of the target charging station, and the control system of the target charging station distributes the total power to be regulated to each power regulation module of the target charging station through the main station module of the target charging station.
