The invention provides a magnetorheological fluid-based bidirectional variable-stiffness tumbler rubber node, a bogie and a rail train, and the bidirectional variable-stiffness tumbler rubber node comprises a cylindrical shell suitable for being clamped and embedded on a swing arm; the node core shaft is sleeved with the shell, and a through hole is formed in the node core shaft in the radial direction; the rubber layer is filled between the shell and the joint mandrel; the magneto-rheological damper is clamped in the through hole, the magneto-rheological damper comprises a piston rod arranged in the axial direction of the through hole, the two ends of the piston rod abut against the rubber layers respectively, and the interior of a mouth of the magneto-rheological damper can be adjusted bidirectionally. When the train runs linearly at a high speed, large rigidity can be provided to ensure the high-speed stability of the train, and when the train runs on a curve track, the rigidity is reduced to meet the requirement of curve trafficability.
