The invention relates to a clutch module and a transmission system for a motor vehicle. The clutch module comprises a shell, a driving disc, a driven disc, a coil module, an actuator and a reset device. The driving disc can move in the axial direction relative to the shell. The driven disc is fixed in the axial direction relative to the housing. And the actuator is connected with the driving disc. The reset device is connected with the driving disc. The driving disc, the driven disc, the coil module, the actuator and the reset device are arranged in the shell. When the coil module is powered on, the coil module enables the actuator to move in the axial direction, so that the driving disc is driven to axially move towards the driven disc, and the driving disc is connected with the driven disc. When the coil module is powered off, the reset device enables the driving disc to axially move away from the driven disc, so that the driving disc and the driven disc are disconnected. The clutch module is compact in structure and optimizes the torque transmission path.
