The invention discloses a railway freight train running gear shaft end flexible transmission power generation device which comprises a base component used for being connected with a bearing end cover at the railway freight train running gear shaft end so as to synchronously rotate along with the bearing end cover; one end of the right-angle transmission part is in transmission connection with the base part, and the right-angle transmission part is used for changing transverse rotation into vertical rotation; the flexible transmission part comprises a flexible transmission shaft, and one end of the flexible transmission shaft is in transmission connection with the other end of the right-angle transmission part; and the power generation and storage component is in transmission connection with the other end of the flexible transmission shaft and is used for generating and storing power. The power generation and storage device has the advantages that the device does not need to be integrally mounted at the shaft end, the mounting positions of power generation and storage components are variable, and the used vehicle types are wide, and can realize real-time power supply for carriages of various vehicle types, so that various detection and monitoring instruments and meters can be mounted, real-time state monitoring of operation of the freight train is realized, and safe and reliable transportation tasks of the freight train are ensured.
