The split type balance weight structure comprises a main supporting plate, a balance weight transmission mechanism, a balance weight driving mechanism and a balance weight mechanism, the main supporting plate is fixed to a balance weight frame, and the balance weight transmission mechanism is located between the main supporting plate and an auxiliary supporting plate and comprises an upper rotating seat, a lower rotating seat and a driving column; the transmission mechanism is provided with two groups of coaxial driving rings and driven rings which are connected through an elastic connector, the counterweight driving mechanism consists of two rotary drivers which are respectively connected with the driving rings of the transmission mechanism, and the counterweight mechanism consists of two groups of fan-shaped counterweight plates which are respectively fixed on the side wall of an adapter ring of the transmission mechanism.
