The invention relates to the technical field of power control, and provides a charging and discharging guide circuit and a control method thereof. The guide circuit comprises a first guide circuit and a second guide circuit; the first guide circuit comprises a multidirectional switch, a first resistor, a second resistor and a first control module used for controlling the bidirectional charging device, and the second guide circuit comprises a second control module used for controlling a target vehicle; the first control module is used for responding to the control instruction and controlling the multidirectional switch to be switched to the corresponding fixed contact so as to output a resistance signal corresponding to the control instruction to the second control module; the second control module is used for switching the current working mode of the target vehicle according to the resistance signal and adjusting the pulse signal output to the first control module according to the switched current working mode; and the first control module is also used for controlling the bidirectional charging device to be switched to a target working mode matched with the current working mode according to the pulse signal.
