The invention discloses an electric vehicle charging safety monitoring method and device. The method comprises the steps that historical charging data and real-time charging data of a to-be-monitored electric vehicle are collected; obtaining fault charging data of a fault of a rechargeable battery of an electric vehicle of the same type as the to-be-monitored electric vehicle through a big data platform; synchronizing the historical charging data with the fault charging data to obtain a fault case; establishing a fault prediction model according to the fault case, and calculating the fault probability of the rechargeable battery of the to-be-monitored electric vehicle based on the fault prediction model; determining charging parameters of the to-be-monitored electric vehicle according to the real-time charging data and a pre-established charging MAP table; extracting a health influence factor as a sample according to the fault charging data, training a convolutional neural network, and obtaining a life prediction model; extracting features from the historical charging data and inputting the features into a life prediction model to obtain predicted life; the method can perform fault prediction and life prediction on the electric vehicle.
