A power system 24 for a cruise vehicle 10 includes a first power source 28, a second power source 30, and an interlock contactor 36. The power system also includes a selector switch 38 coupled to the interlock contactor 36, where the interlock contactor 36 is configured to switch between the first power source 28 and the second power source 30 in response to selection by the selector switch 38 of a power source from among the first power source 28 and the second power source 30 for outputting power to the cruise override 10 through the selected power source.
