The invention relates to a fault early warning method and device, computer equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the field of artificial intelligence and automobile fault early warning, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining initial vehicle parameters of a target vehicle in a historical time period; wherein the initial vehicle parameters comprise a battery parameter, a motor state, a vehicle-mounted energy storage device state, a power converter state, a high-voltage interlocking state, an insulation state and a braking system state; determining an initial parameter weight according to the initial vehicle parameters based on the input gating and the output gating; updating the initial parameter weight according to an exponential function, and determining a target parameter weight; according to the target parameter weight, the initial vehicle parameters are updated, and target vehicle parameters are determined; and performing fault early warning on the target vehicle according to the target vehicle parameters and the initial vehicle parameters. The running state of the vehicle can be predicted more accurately, so that potential faults are found in advance, and the safety and reliability of the vehicle are improved.
