The control method comprises the following steps of: in the descending process of the boom, adjusting through a variable amplitude valve group, and matching with the working of a PVG series main valve, so that a rod cavity of a variable amplitude oil cylinder is always in an oil state; the variable-amplitude descending speed of the arm support can be accurately controlled, the arm support can stably descend, and the phenomena of shaking and shaking do not exist.
