The invention discloses an assembly type box culvert section turnover device and method.The assembly type box culvert section turnover device comprises a multi-point balance suspension frame, the multi-point balance suspension frame comprises a rectangular base, at least one pair of first connecting rods and at least one pair of second connecting rods are arranged on the base, and the first connecting rods are used for being connected with the lower ends of first steel wire ropes; the upper end of the first steel wire rope is used for being hung on a lifting hook of lifting equipment, each second connecting rod is used for being hung on a second steel wire rope, the upper end of each second steel wire rope is used for being hung on the corresponding second connecting rod, and the lower end of each second steel wire rope is used for being arranged on an assembly type box culvert section in a sleeving mode. The overturning jig frame comprises a high-low table; the supporting shafts are detachably connected to the opposite inner side faces of the assembly type box culvert sections and used for being supported at the two ends of the high table of the overturning jig frame correspondingly, so that the assembly type box culvert sections are overturned with the supporting shafts as supporting points. The use frequency of hoisting equipment is reduced in the prefabrication and installation process of the culvert sections, and the damage probability of the box culvert is reduced.
