The invention provides a mechanism for limiting a rotating motion angle, which belongs to the field of mechanical structures, is particularly suitable for limiting a rotating angle of a main shaft in a ZD6 switch machine structure, and comprises an annular part and a prolate part which are respectively provided with a first inner hole and a second inner hole; the annular part and the flat and long part are attached to each other, and the first inner hole and the second inner hole are coaxial. The first inner hole is of a spline structure and is matched with a spindle spline; the minimum inner diameter of the second inner hole is larger than the outer diameter of the spline structure. The mutually attached end surfaces of the annular part and the flat and long part are respectively provided with a boss and a groove for accommodating the boss which are matched with each other; the face, away from the circle center, of the groove is an arc face, and the circle center of the arc face coincides with the circle center of the spline structure. And the groove and the boss are nested and matched by using a jaw. According to the mechanism, the collision between the stop bolt and the stop pile is converted into the collision between the small end of the prolate part and the stop pile, and then the prolate part and the jaw structure of the annular part are collided, so that the stress section is enlarged, the strength of the part is improved, and the impact life of the part is prolonged.
