The electric air compressor control method comprises the steps that the dew point drop of gas in a gas storage tank is calculated; if the dew point drop is larger than or equal to the first preset dew point drop, the electric air compressor is controlled to be started when the air pressure of the air storage tank is reduced to the first preset air pressure, and the first preset air pressure is smaller than the preset inflation starting air pressure and larger than the preset safety braking air pressure; and if the dew point drop is smaller than the first preset dew point drop, the electric air compressor is controlled to be started when the air pressure of the air storage tank is reduced to the preset inflation starting air pressure. According to the application, if the dew point drop is greater than or equal to the first set pre-dew point drop, the air compressor is started when the air pressure of the air storage tank is reduced to a relatively lower level, so that noise and energy consumption caused by frequent starting of the air compressor are avoided, and if the dew point drop is less than the first set pre-dew point drop, the air compressor is started. The air compressor is started when the air pressure of the air storage tank is reduced to the preset inflation starting air pressure with the relatively higher level, and the drying effect of the dryer is guaranteed.
