A photoelectric conversion device (112) is provided with: a photoelectric conversion element (240) that converts light energy of incident light into electric energy; a first wavelength conversion layer (234) disposed in contact with the light receiving surface (242) of the photoelectric conversion element (240); and a second wavelength conversion layer (232) disposed on the surface side of the first wavelength conversion layer (234) opposite to the surface in contact with the photoelectric conversion element (240). The first wavelength converting layer (234) includes a first wavelength converting material (274) that converts a wavelength of light of the first wavelength region. The second wavelength conversion layer (232) includes a second wavelength conversion material (272) that converts a wavelength of light of a second wavelength region. The upper limit value of the first wavelength region is different from the upper limit value of the second wavelength region and/or the lower limit value of the first wavelength region is different from the lower limit value of the second wavelength region.

    光电转换装置(112)具备:光电转换元件(240),将入射的光的光能转换为电能;第一波长转换层(234),与光电转换元件(240)的受光面(242)接触配置;以及第二波长转换层(232),配置于第一波长转换层(234)的与光电转换元件(240)接触的面的相反侧的面侧。第一波长转换层(234)包含转换第一波长区域的光的波长的第一波长转换材料(274)。第二波长转换层(232)包含转换第二波长区域的光的波长的第二波长转换材料(272)。第一波长区域的上限值与第二波长区域的上限值不同以及/或者第一波长区域的下限值与第二波长区域的下限值不同。
