The invention relates to a checking method, a checking system and AR (Augmented Reality) equipment. The inspection method comprises the following steps: generating a scanning image of an inspected vehicle entering a corresponding inspection site through scanning equipment arranged in each inspection site of one or more inspection sites; entity inspection is carried out on inspected vehicles entering the corresponding inspection sites through AR equipment carried by workers of the inspection sites, wherein entity inspection comprises the steps that vehicle attribute information of the inspected vehicles is determined; classifying the detected vehicle based on the scanned image from the scanning device and the vehicle attribute information; and based on the determined category of the detected vehicle, performing physical inspection on the detected vehicle to determine whether the detected vehicle should be released or not.
