The invention provides a repulsion type pantograph rising contact device and a control method thereof. The repulsive pantograph rising contact device comprises a repulsive pantograph which comprises a rolling type contact rod which is used as a main body and is in contact with a contact net, and the rolling type contact rod is made of an insulating material; the main pantograph comprises a carbon slide plate which is used as a main body and is in contact with the contact network, and the main pantograph is in contact with the contact network after the pantograph lifting stage and the repulsive pantograph; the repulsive bow connecting rod is used for connecting the repulsive bow with the main pantograph and can rotate between a parallel state and a non-parallel state relative to the main pantograph by taking one end, close to the main pantograph, of the repulsive bow connecting rod as a rotating end; one end of the repulsive bow supporting rod is arranged on the repulsive bow connecting rod in a sliding mode, and the repulsive bow supporting rod can slide along the repulsive bow connecting rod to drive the repulsive bow connecting rod to rotate; the repulsive bow pneumatic device is connected to the other end of the repulsive bow supporting rod, and the repulsive bow is controlled to ascend and descend by lifting or pulling down the repulsive bow supporting rod.
