The method comprises the steps that the output torque, the rotating speed and the rotating speed change rate of an engine of a vehicle at the current time are obtained; when the rotating speed change rate is larger than a first threshold value and the output torque of the engine at the current time is larger than or equal to a second threshold value, the first demand torque of an engine control unit ECU is determined, and under the condition that the first demand torque is larger than a third threshold value, the first demand torque is corrected based on the rotating speed and the rotating speed change rate, and the second demand torque is obtained; controlling the output torque of the engine at the first time based on the second demand torque; the first time is after the current time. Therefore, the galloping fault can be pre-judged and avoided in advance, and the influence caused by the torque precision of the engine and the motor is eliminated.
