The invention provides a control method for a charging pile. The control method comprises the following steps that S1, at least one real-time monitoring parameter related to the charging process of a vehicle charged at the charging pile is obtained; s2, detecting a charging power limiting event according to the at least one real-time monitoring parameter, wherein the charging power limiting event indicates that the maximum charging power of the vehicle is actively limited to be lower than the rated output power of the charging pile by the vehicle end; and S3, under the condition that the charging power limiting event is detected, adaptive measures are taken for the charging process of the vehicle. The invention further provides a control method for the vehicle, a charging pile, the vehicle, a server and a computer program product. According to the invention, the behavior that the vehicle end actively limits the charging power is accurately identified and effectively dealt with, the problem that the turnover rate of the charging pile is reduced due to the deliberate prolonging of the charging time is avoided, and the overall operation efficiency of the charging pile is remarkably improved.
