The compound accelerator brake system comprises a brake pedal and an accelerator cross rod, and in the working state, the foot sole is arranged between vertically-staggered compound structures formed by the accelerator cross rod and the brake pedal; during driving, the accelerator cross rod is pulled back inwards and upwards through the foot; in the braking process, the foot steps on the brake pedal below to complete braking. Meanwhile, the accelerator cross rod obtains a standby brake function through top treading; through three stages of BCA, three functions of the accelerator are integrated. According to the compound accelerator and brake system, the operation principle and the working logic of an existing accelerator and brake system are changed, the advantages of pulling back and pedaling are exerted to the maximum extent through matching of pulling back and pedaling, various defects of the existing accelerator and brake system are avoided, and the compound accelerator and brake system is suitable for popularization and application. A series of problems such as mistaken accelerator stepping, speed switching, driving fatigue, automatic braking and automatic parking are thoroughly solved.
