The method comprises the following steps: when the ponding depth of a wading environment in which a target vehicle is located is greater than a depth threshold value and the target vehicle is in a driving state, acquiring an initial output torque of the target vehicle; determining an initial torque increment corresponding to the target vehicle according to the environment parameters and the vehicle driving parameters; according to the vehicle size parameter and the vehicle driving parameter, determining an initial torque reduction amount corresponding to the target vehicle; and adjusting the initial output torque according to the initial torque increment and the initial torque decrement to obtain a target output torque. After the initial output torque is adjusted according to the target torque adjustment amount, the target output torque can more effectively guarantee the driving experience of the target vehicle in the wading environment, and the driving stability and the driving controllability of the target vehicle in the wading road section are guaranteed.
