The invention relates to the technical field of cranes, in particular to a lifting and sliding device for a crane, which comprises a moving trolley slidably arranged between double beams of the crane, the moving trolley comprises a frame and wheels, and the frame consists of a bottom plate, a front support frame and a rear support frame; driving devices are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the driving wheels, of the front supporting frame and the rear supporting frame, the driving devices drive the driving wheels to rotate, the lifting device is installed on the vehicle frame and comprises a lifting motor, a first winding drum and a second winding drum, and the lifting motor drives the first winding drum and the second winding drum to rotate. The problems that at the present stage, due to the design that a lifting mechanism with one winding drum needs enough braking torque and a single winding drum, installation and adjustment of a brake can become more complex, the braking difficulty is increased, meanwhile, the selection of connection modes between the winding drums and a speed reducer is limited, installation errors cannot be effectively compensated, the transmission precision is reduced, and the service life of the winding drum is prolonged are solved. And the overall performance of the hoisting mechanism is further influenced.
