The invention provides a range extender loader power generation control method and related equipment, and the method comprises the steps: when an external demand power change rate is greater than a set change rate threshold value, executing fixed-point power generation with external demand average power; when the external demand power change rate is smaller than or equal to a set change rate threshold value, if the carbon loading capacity is larger than or equal to a carbon loading capacity threshold value, power generation is carried out according to a weak power following power generation strategy; if the carbon loading capacity is smaller than the carbon loading capacity threshold value and the water temperature is lower than the water temperature minimum value, fixed-point power generation is executed with the external demand average power; when the water temperature is higher than or equal to the water temperature minimum value and the charge state value is smaller than the charge state minimum value, fixed-point power generation is executed according to the external demand power maximum value, and when the charge state value is larger than or equal to the charge state minimum value, power generation is conducted according to a power generation strategy followed by strong power. The power generation control precision of the range extender loader is improved.
