The invention discloses a functionalized polymer and a preparation method thereof, vulcanized rubber formed by the functionalized polymer, and application of the functionalized polymer and the vulcanized rubber in tires. The general formula of the functionalized polymer is P-C, and P is a conjugated diene homopolymerization chain segment or a copolymerization chain segment formed by conjugated diene and monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon; c is a residue of a multifunctional polymerized end-capping reagent, and the end-capping reagent is a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane compound with an epoxy group. The tail end of a macromolecular chain of the functionalized polymer is provided with a cage-shaped POSS (Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane) group, so that the movement lag of the macromolecular chain end can be effectively reduced, and the functionalized polymer can interact with groups on the surface of white carbon black, thereby effectively improving the affinity of rubber and the white carbon black and promoting the dispersion of the white carbon black. The functionalized polymer and vulcanized rubber prepared from the functionalized polymer have relatively high wet skid resistance and relatively low rolling resistance, and are tread rubber materials with excellent performance.

    本发明公开了官能化聚合物及其制备方法,由该官能化聚合物形成的硫化橡胶,以及该官能化聚合物和硫化橡胶在轮胎中的应用。该官能化聚合物的通式为P‑C,其中,P为共轭二烯烃均聚链段或共轭二烯烃与单乙烯基芳烃形成的共聚链段;C为多官能聚合封端剂残基,所述封端剂为带有环氧基团的多面体低聚倍半硅氧烷化合物。该官能化聚合物的大分子链末端带有笼状的POSS基团,可有效减少大分子大链端运动滞后,还可以与白炭黑表面的基团发生相互作用,从而有效改善橡胶与白炭黑的亲和性,促进白炭黑分散。该官能化聚合物及其由其制得的硫化橡胶具有较高的抗湿滑性和较低的滚动阻力,是一种性能优越的胎面胶材料。
