The invention discloses a vehicle mode switching method and device and electronic equipment, and relates to the technical field of intelligent driving. The method comprises the steps that when a vehicle enters an activation mode, mode switching operation is executed on the vehicle, and then when it is detected that the total time of the mode switching operation is smaller than or equal to first preset time, the vehicle is controlled to enter a hub rotating mode. By means of the method, the rotating hub mode of the vehicle is rapidly switched to in the mode that existing function keys of the whole vehicle are used for combination setting and operation step arrangement, other devices do not need to be externally connected, and therefore hardware cost is reduced, false triggering of a user can be prevented, and the problem of safe driving is avoided.
