The invention relates to a virtual power plant operation optimization method and system considering a power deviation rate. The method comprises the steps of obtaining virtual power plant operation data; based on the operation data of the virtual power plant, constructing an optimal scheduling model comprising a plurality of objective functions; performing linearization processing on nonlinear terms in the optimization scheduling model; carrying out normalization processing on each linearized objective function in the optimization scheduling model; delineating the weight of each target function after normalization processing through an entropy weight method; according to the weight of each objective function, integrating all objective functions, and converting the optimal scheduling model of the plurality of objective functions into an optimal scheduling model of a single objective function; and calling a linear programming solver to solve the optimal scheduling model of the single objective function, and outputting a virtual power plant operation strategy. According to the optimal scheduling model, the power deviation rate, the operating profit and the carbon emission are considered at the same time, and comprehensive optimization of the virtual power plant in the aspects of output reliability, economic benefits and social benefits is achieved.
