An object of the present invention is to provide an in-wheel motor driving device having a structure which is less likely for a gear shaft 9a of an output gear 9 to become out of alignment even if the gear shaft 9a comes under a bending moment from a lateral force from a tire caused by a turning load for example. The gear shaft 9a of the output gear 9 in the speed reducer B of an in-wheel motor driving device 1 is supported at its two ends with respect to a housing 11. The double-end supported gear shaft 9a of the output gear 9 is formed with a spline hole 9b. The spline hole 9b provides spline-connection with an output shaft 13 of the wheel hub C. This structure makes the gear shaft 9a less likely to become out of alignment even if the output gear 9 comes under a bending moment. Therefore, even if an external force such as a lateral force from a tire causes the output shaft 13 of the wheel hub C to develop a shaft deflection, the deformation/displacement is absorbed by a gap between splines which connect the output shaft 13 of the wheel hub C and the output gear 9 with each other.
