An objective is to detect a malfunction in a switch provided in an electric vehicle and give a notification about occurrence of the malfunction. A power conversion system (10) includes a detection circuit (32). The detection circuit (32) includes a measurement unit (321) configured to measure a voltage at a measurement point (PI, P2) which is set in part, inside the connector (3), of a power supply path (51), and a determination unit (322) configured to determine that the malfunction in an in-vehicle switch (43) has occurred, when the voltage measured with the measurement unit (321) exceeds a threshold. The measurement unit (321) and the determination unit (322) are provided in the connector (3). The detection circuit (32) is configured to determine whether the malfunction in the in-vehicle switch (43) interposed in part, inside an electric vehicle (4), of a power supply path (52) connected to the connector (3) has occurred, based on a determination result of the determination unit (322).
