This glass substrate comprises: a thin plate section; a thick plate section; and a connecting section. The thin plate section includes a first main surface and a second main surface opposing the first main surface. The thick plate section includes a first main surface and a second main surface opposing the first main surface. The thick plate section is thicker than the thin plate section. The connecting section includes: a first connecting surface connecting the first main surface of the thin plate section and the first main surface of the thick plate section; and a second connecting surface connecting the second main surface of the thin plate section and the second main surface of the thick plate section. The radius of curvature of the first connecting surface is 400 µm or more.
