Systems and methods for controlling an unducted turbofan engine (100, 102) to limit noise. The unducted turbofan engine (100, 102) may include an unducted fan (152) drivingly coupled with a low-pressure turbine (134) and a plurality of unducted outlet guide vanes (162). The unducted fan (152) may include a plurality of fan blades (154) and a pitch angle of the fan blades (154) may be variable. A pitch angle of the unducted outlet guide vanes (162) may be variable. A controller (300, 302) is configured to control the engine (100, 102) to limit noise based on a noise sensitive condition (350).
