The invention relates to an on-board movement control system for an autonomous or semi-autonomous motorised road vehicle (4) and to a fixed infrastructure (10) located in a level crossing zone (1) crossing a road (2), the system and the infrastructure cooperating by means of at least one message transmitted by the infrastructure via wireless communication and received by the on-board system. In accordance with the invention, the at least one message comprises one or more items of information relating to a signalling and/or protection system installed in the level crossing zone (1) and/or relating to one or more structural components (5-9) of the signalling and/or protection system. The on-board system is configured to decide on movement control management of the vehicle on the basis of the one or more items of information extracted from the at least one message received.
