An autonomous electrical energy production facility, designed for a propulsion nacelle of an aircraft comprising an electric circuit comprising actuators (8, 28), characterised in that it comprises means (2) for storing electrical energy that can receive energy from the actuators (8) when thy operate during braking, an electrolyser (12) powered with current by said storage means, and a fuel cell (18) receiving flows of oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2) supplied by said electrolyser, which supplies current to the electric circuit (24), producing water (H2O) which is returned to the electrolyser.
