A push-seal mechanism for a container 10, preferably within a lid 20, actuatable between an operable and a locked configuration. The operable configuration permits actuation by a push-action mechanism to provide a seal configuration or an open configuration, and the locked configuration blocks actuation of the push-action mechanism, to prevent accidental unsealing. The mechanism is actuatable by rotation of an actuator element and comprises a tracking structure, Protrusion (44, Fig 4) and nub (46, Fig 4), to engage a guide structure, grooves (52, Fig 5), defining a path between the operable and locked configurations, and wherein the path comprises a barrier (56, fig 5) inhibiting passage of the tracking structure. The actuator element may include indicators (25, Fig 1) to indicate a locked and/or an operable orientation. The mechanism may be actuatable by an externally facing actuator element 22. The mechanism may comprise externally facing grip features (24a, 24b, Fig 1) on an actuator element. The push-action mechanism may comprise a click wheel mechanism 32, 34. A fluid container is also claimed, which may be one of a travel mug, travel cup, flask, feeding bottle, weaning bottle or exercise kit.
