PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire protection device which is light, prevents bulkiness, and can be mounted to a tire easily.SOLUTION: A tire protection device comprises: an elastic sheet 3 disposed on an inner peripheral side of a tire 8 in a circumferential direction; and a pair of pressing rings 4 for pressing both edge parts of the elastic sheet 3 in a shaft direction onto a bead part 9 of the tire 8 respectively. The pressing ring 4 comprises an engaging annular part 13 engaging with the bead part 9 of the tire 8 from the outside in the shaft direction and a pressing cylindrical part 14 in a cylindrical shape extending inward in the shaft direction of the tire 8 from an inner end part of the engaging annular part 13 in an L-shaped cross-section. Both edge parts of the elastic sheet 3 in the shaft direction are bent along the bead part 9 by elastic deformation, and the elastic sheet 3 forms a cylindrical body A which blocks a tire opening 10 over the entire circumference, and is a bead covering part 19 in which both edge parts of the elastic sheet 3 in the tire 8 shaft direction are disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the pressing cylindrical part 14.

    【課題】 軽くて嵩張るのを防止できしかもタイヤへの装着も簡単になし得るタイヤ保護装置を提供する。【解決手段】 タイヤ8の内周側に周方向に配置される弾性シート3と、弾性シート3の軸方向両端部をタイヤ8のビード部9にそれぞれ押さえ付ける一対の押さえリング4とを備え、押さえリング4は、タイヤ8のビード部9に軸方向外方から係合する係合環状部13と、係合環状部13の内端部からタイヤ8の軸方向内方に延びた円筒状の押さえ筒部14とを断面L字状に備え、弾性シート3は、その軸方向両端部がビード部9に沿うように弾性変形により湾曲されて、タイヤ開口10を全周に亘って塞ぐ円筒体Aを形成し、弾性シート3のタイヤ8軸方向の両端部が押さえ筒部14の外周面に配置されるビード被覆部19とされている。【選択図】図1
