PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress output of a battery at a more appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A battery controller 10 controls the output from a battery 20 to a motor 30 driven with power stored in the battery 20. Output control means 128 determines whether or not the battery temperature T is equal to or higher than a threshold temperature TL determined by the charging rate S, and suppresses the output from the battery 20 to less than a request output P if the battery temperature T is less than the threshold temperature TL. Furthermore, information means 14 informs in advance that the output may be suppressed, if the battery temperature T is less than the threshold temperature TL.
