PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate, in digital ATC, delay in braking start when approaching a section.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 20 equipped on a train 10 performs running control on the basis of running control information 40 received from rails R. Specifically, the on-vehicle device calculates a non-signal time which is a lapse time during a non-signal state of receiving no running control information 40. When the non-signal time reaches a first threshold time, the on-vehicle device temporarily determines that the train passes a section boundary and changes the running control to speed control according to a lower control speed between a control speed for a previously running section and a control speed for a next section (protection section). The on-vehicle device calculates in parallel a non-signal distance which is a running distance during the non-signal state. When the non-signal time reaches a second threshold time which is longer than the first threshold time, or when the non-signal distance reaches a threshold distance, the on-vehicle device sets a stop speed as the control speed and operates an emergency brake to stop the train.

    【課題】デジタルATCにおいて、区間進入時の制動開始の遅れを解消すること。【解決手段】列車10に搭載される車上装置20は、レールRから受信した走行制御情報40に基づく走行制御を行う。すなわち、走行制御情報40が受信されない無信号状態の間の経過時間である無信号時間を算出し、無信号時間が第1閾値時間に達すると、区間境界を通過したと仮判定して、従前走行していた区間の制御速度と、次の区間(内方区間)の制御速度とのうち、低い方の制御速度に応じた速度制御に変更する。また、並行して無信号状態の間の走行距離である無信号距離を算出する。そして、無信号時間が第1閾値時間より長い第2閾値時間に達した場合、或いは、無信号距離が閾値距離に達した場合には、停止速度を制御速度として、非常ブレーキを動作させて列車を停止させる。【選択図】図1
