PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption prediction device, a navigation device using the same, and a power consumption prediction method capable of improving accuracy in predicting the power consumption of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A power consumption prediction device includes: an actual result recording unit 15 for allowing an actual result data storage unit 16 to store meteorological information, an air conditioner actuation time, and a vehicle travel time by association during the traveling of a vehicle; a correction value calculation unit 17 for calculating the ratio of the actuation time to the travel time for each item of meteorological information as a correction value; and a power consumption prediction unit 19 for predicting the power consumption of an air conditioner with the use of the correction value corresponding to the meteorological information acquired at the time of prediction. A correction value corresponding to a meteorological condition at the time of prediction is acquired based on the actual values of an actuation time and a travel time stored in the actual result data storage unit 16 during the past traveling of the vehicle, and then the power consumption is predicted with the use of the correction value. Thus, the power consumption is accurately predicted in accordance with the actual use state of the air conditioner by a user using the vehicle.

    【課題】エアコンによる消費電力の予測精度を向上させ得る「消費電力予測装置およびこれを用いたナビゲーション装置、消費電力予測方法」を提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行時に、気象情報とエアコンの作動時間と車両の走行時間とを関連付けて実績データ記憶部16に記憶させる実績記録部15と、走行時間に対する作動時間の割合を補正値として気象情報毎に算出する補正値算出部17と、予測を行う時点で取得された気象情報に対応する補正値を用いてエアコンによる消費電力を予測する消費電力予測部19とを備え、過去の車両の走行時に実績データ記憶部16に記憶された作動時間と走行時間との実測値に基づいて、予測時の気象条件に応じた補正値を求め、その補正値を用いて消費電力を予測することにより、その車両を利用するユーザのエアコンの使用実態に合わせて精度よく消費電力を予測できるようにする。【選択図】図1
