PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction device capable of suppressing the vibration of an inertia mass.SOLUTION: A vibration reduction device comprises: a rod coupling an engine to a vehicle body; an actuator causing an inertia mass supported by the rod to make a reciprocating motion in a predetermined direction in the rod; vibration detection means detecting the vibration of the rod; and control means controlling the actuator, the control means switching over between a first control mode for controlling the actuator to produce a force in proportion to a speed of a displacement in the predetermined direction of the rod on the basis of the vibration of the rod, and a second control mode for estimating the vibration of the inertia mass using the vibration detection means and controlling the actuator based on the vibration of the inertia mass.

    【課題】慣性マスの振動を抑制できる振動低減装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンと車体との間を連結するロッドと、ロッドに支持された慣性マスをロッド内で所定方向に往復動させるアクチュエータと、ロッドの振動を検出する振動検出手段と、アクチュエータを制御する制御手段とを備え、制御手段は、ロッドの振動に基づいて、ロッドの所定方向への変位の速度に比例した力を発生させるようアクチュエータを制御する第1制御モードと、振動検出手段を用いて慣性マスの振動を推定し、慣性マスの振動に基づいてアクチュエータを制御する第2制御モードとを切り替える。【選択図】 図1
